DERBY

Derby is a perfect companion; he doesn't shed, is housebroken,  and accompanies you everywhere.
He loves to play fetch with his ball, interspersed with long naps.  He looks like a Shih Tzu, complete with underbite.  He is taller, standing 15 inches at the shoulder.  He weighs 15 pounds.

Derby is happy to keep you company on the couch.  He also likes to go for walks and is very good on the leash.  He had a lot of fun at the dog park.  He plays well with other dogs and is friendly to adults and children.

Derby shares treats and toys and food with other dogs.  He is very affectionate, and likes to cuddle.  He rides well in the car, but wants to be right next to you.

Everyone thinks Derby is adorable. 

 He doesn't fight being groomed.

 He likes to keep track of the dogs walking by the house.  He is a watch dog and will bark but not too much.

 

DUKE

Duke helped me hand out Halloween candy.  He was very friendly to the children.  His shirt said 'Bad to the Bone'.

Duke likes to look out the window and keep track of the dogs walking by.

Duke loves to play with other dogs.  He shares toys, food, and rawhide chews.   He also likes to sleep on his pillow under the piano.   

Duke likes to follow me everywhere. He is reliably housebroken.

Duke loves meeting new dogs and people at the dog park. He is on the right in this picture.

Jesse was groomed by Heidi at Tail Wagging Doggy Day Care.  Her beautiful poodle face is now revealed.  Everyone at the dog park comments on how beautiful she is. 

Jesse

JESSE    

Jesse is an apricot and cream miniature poodle, 14 inches high at the shoulder.  She is a devoted companion, content to sit on the couch with you.

 Jesse likes to sleep at the foot of the bed.  She is also happy on a pillow on the floor or in a crate for the night.

Jesse with a new admirer at our garden party.  She likes the boy dogs and they like her.  Jesse is shy with new adult people but seems to be more outgoing with children.

Jesse can be left at home alone for a few hours; she doesn't destroy anything and is housebroken.  She is not demanding for lots of petting, but will gently put a paw on my leg if she needs some love.  She loves going for walks, and doesn't pull on the leash.  She has irritable bowl syndrome, but this is very easily managed.  She eats Hills Science Diet 'id' formula - no people food or treats. 

Jesse likes to look out the window, and keep track of the dog walkers.  She is very good to my little white dog, and they share duties as guard dogs.
